We are aware that many business are having to down size due to the critical state of our economy.  This means that the remaining personnel will have to work longer hours and more efficiently.  In these times, stress levels are at an all time high.  We at Healing on the Bay, Inc. offer you On-Site Massage Therapy as a unique concrete stress management tool to help keep your employees motivated and working more effectively to avoid burnout.

Our On-Site Massage Therapy Program is our first line of defense against the ill effects of stress in the workplace.  An essential part of our program is education.  We provide you with a half hour stress awareness lecture that informs you and your employees about the effects of stress in and out of the workplace.  The second part of this presentation shows employees how Chair Massage is used to combat stress by re-connecting the mind to the body.  The actual experience of On-Site Massage Therapy is where the true education takes place.

Set Up:

Healing on the Bay, Inc. can set up our portable massage chair in almost any space provided by your company.  The space can be an office, a conference room, a lounge area or just out in an open area.  We recommend it be an area that has little or no traffic and is relatively quiet.  We also suggest that you pre-schedule each person that you’ve designated to receive chair massage so that the exchange of  appointments flows smoothly.  This will also maximize the time that you have allotted for us to perform this service.

Implementation:

We begin by playing relaxation music that has its own therapeutic quality.  When the appointments begin, we normally allow two minutes in between each session for transitioning people on and off the massage chair.  If at the end of the day you need extra time for additional personnel to receive chair massage, we usually build in an added hour for this circumstance.
